Latar Belakang dan Sumbangan Pemikiran Neo-Sufisme Hamka bagi Pemikiran dan Kehidupan Muhammadiyah

Sufism is part of the islamic shari’a which is one of the objektives of the frame work of islamic teachings of faith ihsan. Sufism born as an ethical movement againts the social and moral inequalities of the economy in the moslim. The anti –social tendencies background of the emergence of neo sufism, the one who develops neo sufism in Indonesia is Hamka thought neo sufism in is very relevant to social culture Indonesian nations and history with the dynamics of current thinking. The formulation of this research problem is how the background and contribution of neo sufisme thought Hamka fot thought and religi our life in Muhammadiyah. The research is sourced from the primery data that is the journal books in writing Hamka and the secondary data in the form the journal books in writing others relevant to thema of the search. Analysis using content analysis to analyze the meaning by tracing the activit and the flow of thinking Hamka to explain clearly visible about neo sufisme.

Background thoughts neo sufisme Hamka have contunuity with sufisme sunni al-Ghazali and salafi Ibn Taymya. The Emergence of neo sufisme Hamka is caused historically to the reality of the tedency of the anti-social sufism clerics and the world. Hence as amanifestation on the classical scholars maintains the value of a good old value and takes on new value of battervalue. Hamka expressed the views of neo sufism as an attempt to contextualize the teachings of sufisme.

The contribution of neo sufisme Hamka thought to religius and life Muhammadiyah contains six basic subtansi, for Hamka sufisme  advocated ijtihad is continuous that the doctrine of sufisme conducive and funcional with modernitas, sufisme also called moral movement as aform  of personal coaching quality to living. The faith and piety to form a perfect personality and charitable pious sufisme as islamic esotoric can cultivate an attitude of optimis and trust appreaciating the life of this warld as a medium of worship and draw closer to god. Hamka emphasizet the call streching  the link between sufisme  with the teaching of islamic syariat, sufism massage lie health therapy mental is form  of donation and appreciation Hamka apply sufism fuctionally is solving problem of modernity and participati in human development. Hamka also called for installing an optimistic attitude to wards the world and involve them selves in the community more intens and active premises of worshap to god as the first goal, implication  of this doctrine wants moslims to improve science and technologi for the advancement of moslims Muhammadiyah and nations of Indonesian the majority of Islam.
